ResponderEliminarit's not that, I tried to redo my thing because of some errors I had in grammar (jajaja)
ResponderEliminar1. Well, my family is a good one, just like everyone else I think. I live in Tijuana, the place where I was born and raised. I’m studying at Cetys Universidad and this year I’m a junior (time goes fast doesn’t it people?). The only thing that has actually shaped my dreams so far was my time when I studied in US, because since my dream is to be a musician or anything related with music (I’m still undecided) and in that country many musical genres are accepted, which is why I’m trying to study there again.
ResponderEliminar2. Fiction: none
Historical Figure: Yngwie Malmsteen and Paul Gilbert. These two guys show something other musicians don’t, and that is the theory and skill to master an instrument (Their work is something that I want to apply to my style.)
Creative Work: Stories – The Necklace, Land Enough for a Man, The Thief, The Stranger, All Quiet on the Western Front, and Things Fall Apart. Music – Neoclassical and neo-romantic music, blues, rock, and metal genres (These are the styles of music that I like the most, and the ones that kind of show an aspect of me). Science – Laws of thermodynamics, laws of motion, and cell division (These are the concepts I remember the most).
3. Things that have impacted me so far in my life has been the day I began to play music (I still play music), when I saw Obama’s Inauguration Address (it was a life-time experience), when I went to a young leader’s conference (won’t forget its teachings), and when I came back to Mexico (still don’t know how this will change me yet).
4. Well, to be honest I’ve never had an influence from another person. I would count God in because He has helped me through many things in life, but He is a heavenly being, not a person. Maybe I have been influenced indirectly, but I’ve never considered someone as an influence. I just like to go by my own terms I guess.
5. Those would be the economical crisis around the world right now (it inflicts all of us), the government not doing anything to help and the same goes to us (it only takes a person to take the step, but as I see, most people don’t care about it until it’s time to wake up their senses), and global warming (this one will inflict all of us, but who knows how exactly we will stop it).
6. That’s a tough one, because I’m not a person that talks much, especially about qualities. Well, I’m sarcastic, enigmatic, someone who’s not afraid to take the first step (don’t care what others think about it), an independent individual, a guitarist (I prefer electric ones, acoustics aren’t my thing jaja). Also, I just found out that I’m partially an existentialist. I’m happy about the way I am, and I would only change for myself if I noticed something ( I won’t change for others, especially if it gets in my goals). Finally, one characteristic that I sometimes use for meditation is my seriousness (yeah, I'm whacky sometimes, but that's not my attitude completely. It's just a part that you know from me, and that's why I used the term enigmatic). It's funny how nobody that I know in life knows me completely, either because they don't talk to me or because I just don't want to reveal much about myself (where's the fun in revealing everything? It makes things boring for me).
1. First of all I born in Dallas, Texas… the place that in the summer is doing a lot of sun, and I mean A LOT you don’t want to go out of your house, and in winter, well I don’t have problems with the winter because is my favorite season, but my mom always toll me that winter is practically “hell” because it “burn your bones” (not literality)… but yeah, that it’s the place where I born. I grew up in México City, then in Villahermosa, Guadalajara and finally and where I am now Tijuana since I was 6 years old, I grew up very closely with my grandma, brother, uncle and of course my mom to jaja. My family, teach me everything I know, they have been my support, my true lovers as well as my friends. My family and friends are everything I need, they are my life. They have supporting me since I where born with my dreams, my whishes, my aspirations to be the best person in art industry or anything I do related to the arts, paint, design. ”Keep fighting for what you want Maya, you are great, you can do it, just believe it like now”-They say.
ResponderEliminar2. Mm, a Fiction Character, well I must say I am very identified or influenced by Peter Pan and Tinker Bell, I always wanted to have a dream place, where u can’t never ever grow up since I were little, but know that I have 16 years old, I realize that my life, the actuality, how happened things, are my dream, are my “Neverland” Place, because through years I have seen what I am, my person, in what I believe and why, that everything has a meaning, a reason to be.
3. Maybe, when I prove my self last semester that if I want to and wish to, I can’t get what I want (9.02 of my final grade) I was very happy. Because I focus in something, I “fight” for it and I get it ( I make it my own).
4. My grandma, she was to me and I am sure that for many people to, the best person in life, she was a complete lady, an brilliant mom, sister. She show me modals, how to think right, even she show me how to make this 2+2=4 when I was like 4 years old, she teach me how to say mom and how to say thanks’, she show me how to talk to people, she teach me how to see the world with so many eyes, cultures, feelings, she show me how to be strong even in circumstances not so good, she toll me the most prettiest and words, she show me how to laught. I miss her ♥.
5. I must say, global warming, god, all the new illness are happened because us, humans, don’t know how to use well the technology, the resources that “mother nature” gives us. It makes me sad; think that this race in some millennium or near year is going too disappeared. And it’s sad and make me angry that when the problem it there but nothing bad happen well, people don’t do nothing to resolve it, but when the world is “falling down” it’s getting sick well, people in the last days, ours, want to do everything, anything to put have a time back.
6. Be cute, lover.
My friends and family, tell me I am a very happy person that I always want to hug someone everyday, every minute, every second, I’m always laughing. That makes me feel comfortable whit my self, I am happy with ho I am, it makes my self someone unique. And yes, that makes me proud.
Okay, like I just posted the best comment in the history of Diana's comments and I don't see it in here! OMG, I hope it wasn't erased or something, because it was quite long & quite awesome too!!!
ResponderEliminar1) My family is of 5, my young brother (6 years younger than me), young sister ( 2 years younger than me), my father (a non plant doctor in factories) and my mother (a dentist) and me. My family started “it’s path” from the point when my parents decide to leave the local where they worked to start a new one without noting. When I got to middle school, my mother started a pharmacy in the same local where they built their new office. Soon, my parents started to built my new house over their office (yes, same building). Right now, I’m studying with the IB program and expect to become a doctor like my father and try to form a new life without help, just as he did.
ResponderEliminar2) Superman is kind of my favorite fictional character because of feeling responsible for all of the worlds suffering and trying to solve it. He reminds me of my dad for sacrificing so much to help random people, family and friends.
3) As a young elementary school student, I was really arrogant, and used to complain with my team at works for not being as good as me in working. Once one of them told that to my teacher, and since the teacher liked me she said “no, Juan wouldn’t say that, right Juan?” And for remaining as the “teacher’s pet” I lied and said I had never said that. Suddenly, all students started to complain that I did said that, and not only once. My teacher defended me without knowing I lied to her, and almost every student in my class look me with reproach, making me feel guilty of everything they felt and every problem they got with school. Since that day, I decided to try being more humble and appreciate the work of everyone. I just hope I can continue what I proposed to myself to prevent from turning that arrogant again.
4) My father has always been my “hero”, from the way he has educated me and my brother and sister, the way he stands more than 9 hours a day for us, the way he always seems to sacrifice his time for his family and the way he puts extra effort in his work to save and prevent sicknesses in the workers. For this and a lot more, I’ve searched to become a doctor, to have my future kids proud of me as I am of my own father.
5) My relationship with my sister has always being weird. We both know our deepest secrets, but we don’t trust each other, we are always fighting for fun or not for fun, but when we need someone, we are always for the other. And so on, a lot of other similar things, but recently it has been better (or worst) in every way; we fight harder, but we help each other more than ever. I’m not sure if it’s even healthy this kind of relationships, but I think it’s a really interesting one.
6) I love to play the piano, I started studying when I was 7, and the last formal class I had was last winter (when I turned 16). I don’t have that much of a talent to play difficult or long songs, but I feel I’m better at “working songs out” (looking for my way of playing existent songs). The thing is I think that playing piano is important for me because it’s my escape from reality whenever there are problems I can’t solve, and I don’t like to play the same songs over and over, I prefer to play them on MY way, or improvising, that’s why I don’t really know classic music or am agile with my fingers.
1. I was born in San Diego ,California. Some people tell me Im American but I prefer being called Mexican-American. Im an only child, and I think that have had a great influence over my life because being an only child gives you certain attributes that you dont always like and some that you do. I live with my mom and my dad, I love them but sometimes I wish I could have a sibling. My dad is an achieving person, he loves his work and every day he tries to be better than the last, but eitherway he tries to spend time with my mother and me, and my mom is also a person who fights for what she wants, for life has given her several obstacles but also several reasons to overcome them.
ResponderEliminarMy friends? They are quite unique, I have a talent to screw things up but they are always there for me even if I consider myself as a person that is hard to hang out with. But eitherway Im positive that someone up there has placed them in my way down here, and I wish I could say thank you to Mr.Up-there
I had always thought that the person that we are now, is usually crafted and polished by the people we have met during our whole life and the ways they have acted toward us. So when we are born we are like a big chunk of rock, then we start getting involved with different people and they turn into our Michelangelos and DaVincis, that make that same chunk of rock something beautiful.
2. "The cat in socks". It was the first book that I read on my own. The insignificant cat started a revolution in my life that cant be stopped. It made me discover love, a love so passionate that I still feel until this day.The love of reading, the infatuation toward books. And the books have helped me meet several important people along the way, like The inheritance trilogy that made me meet Diana, Harry Potter Saga that helped me meet Ivan or the Hunger Games that saw the start of a beautiful friendship with Juan Angel.
Reading also made me a different person on its own, it gave me different attributes with the characters that appeared in each and every one of them. The books had shaped my life in several ways, and it all started with "The Cat in Socks".
3.Something im very proud I did was actually one of the biggest nonsense Ive ever done.I was very annoyed with a teacher because she gave me a grade that was far below my classmate's and the work hadn't been that awful. She told me to write my grade in my school journal, I was so upset and angry and I wanted to tell the principal so I decided to send myself to the principal's office.Instead of writting my grade on the school's journal I decided to write a mocking note that the teacher would read. When she took my journal away and read it she was so furious I thought she would beat me with a club or something. But she didn't she just send me to the principal's office. In there I was so scared because I didnt knew how principal Gaby would react, but eitherway I told her what happend how I could and she said she would speak to my teacher. I know it isnt ok to defy your teacher but that was the first time I actually stood for myself.
Indicate a person who has had a significant influence on you, and describe that influence.
4. My dad is the person who has had an influence over me. He is kind of the person I want to be like when I grow up. Im not planning on being a dentist but I love the way he spends time with us and how he had always seemed to care. Plus we have a lot of things in common, so that helps becase we have a really nice relationship. My dad is my heroe, I worship him now and I always will, because because of him i have learned to never give up and always help people overcome obstacles.
5. Something that affects me really much are sicknesses. Its probable because its one of my main phobias but its also that I cant stand seeing people sick and not being able to help them in any way.
ResponderEliminar6. One quality that I have is.. I really dont know. I could tell you that Im a loyal person but I doubt that, I should be loyal in every situation of my life. I also arent a honest person, because I sometimes lie to get myself out of trouble. Im most defently not a responsible person, but perhaps I have a quality that sounds very lame: I can love. It sounds sort of gotten from a Harry Potter book but I think its easy for me to love people, therefore its easy for me to care and that ought to count as a quality, doesnt it?
1.- My family is formed by 5, my big brother, my little sister, my mom, my dad, and me, obviously the had been a really big part for my dreams and my own goals, because they always support what I dream. My community has had an influence on me too, because it is the place I live, where everything that happens eventually affects me, my school is a very special place, because there is where I study and because there are my best friends, my school also is a place that supports my dreams and goals, because I study every day and there is where I learn different things that will help me in my future, and my future is a group of goals that I have to reach.
ResponderEliminar2.- I think there is not just “one” character in specific, I think that every people that has been in history such as Benito Juárez has had an influence on me and in everybody, because they are an example to follow for any of us, we had study them in school and we “saw” what they did.
3.- When I entered to Cetys, I think it is a good example, because I never thought I would be on this school, I was nervous, but I faced it up and discovered that if I tried hard I can do it and that nothing is impossible if you want.
4.- I think my parents, because they had always helped me in all ways, firstly they gave me my life, they took care of me when I was a baby, they gave me love within waiting it back, I just have one pair of parents, and not anymore, any does, we have to love them and never forget what they did for us.
5.- Poverty, because if we are supposed to be all alike in that way, we can see it isn’t true, you can walk through the streets and see poor people asking for a help, why if countries like USA that has so much money don’t help those people, I’m not trying to say it deserves just to USA, every country has too, but I think that all the people must be alike in that way and it is an international problem.
6.- When I make people laugh, it isn’t a necessity but I am in that way, I don’t do it for that other pay attention to me, I feel proud and good when I make laugh my friends because I love them. As another thing I think I can tell that I make friends quickly, it is a good way to feel good with myself.
1. I was born in El Centro, California. I have a mother, father, and a sister who is 15. I always try to be a good example for my sister and others. I was going to school in the US all my life until freshman year. Right now I'm a junior in CETYS and I want to go to a university in the US. My dream is to live a carefree life, where I can do whatever I want and I don't have to worry about anything. Is that even possible? Well, my goal is to be a millionaire and retire when I'm young. :)
ResponderEliminar2. It's more of a culture that has influenced me. The counterculture during the 60's (AKA hippies) is something that I am very interested. I like the idea of protesting against a war with love and music. The search of peaceful and carefree life is what I want to do. To have the life of a hippie. But I don't have to take drugs. In the 60's, wearing jeans and having long hair was a hippie fashion. (Which is what I am wearing :P)
3. In seventh grade, I was very selfish. I never cared about anyone else. One day, my parents told me that I was going to change school. The next day, I told everyone that I was leaving. A girl in my class said that she had a crush on me and wanted to be my girlfriend or something. Every girl is beautiful, some are more beautiful than others and she wasn't one of them. She was very dramatic and I didn't like her. I said that she will never be my girlfriend. When I changed school, she was talking to me on myspace. Two years later she said she still has a crush on me. I will never forget what I said to her. It took me time to realize what I have done and from now on I am different. Now I want to tell her that I am sorry.
4. My mother is a hard working person and I really want have the courage and determination that she has. She always looks at things in a different perspective. She has taught that I should learn from my mistakes and never look back at the thing that I regret in the past.
5. Discrimination, religion, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and everything else. I think it is ignorant to judge somebody before knowing him or her. I believe that to live in peace you have to be tolerant. Respect what other people think even if you "know" that they're wrong.
6. I play the guitar. Playing a musical instrument makes me proud of who I am because I can create or produce something that is pleasant to me and to others. Making music helps me to practice my creativity. Although I don't have an adequate education in music, I think that music is sound that is pleasant. When I mean pleasant, I am referring to the different genres in music for everyone. Everyone has a different taste for music and I have discovered mine.
1 .- I will speak only of my social and academic world that I think are the things I openly tell my social and academic world are interconnected, my school is world in which more effort that I need to do my homework, do my work and get good grades but after all this effort comes into play morning my social world which is my way out of all this stress of school, so every weekend I try to go somewhere to relax and start my week with greater impetus.
ResponderEliminar2.-In my life without some kind of character that has influenced me because I think that I should not base my actions on things that someone else has done, I think the only inspiration I need is to live day by day .
3.-My past is everything that today influence my decisions, my actions and what I am today, I have always tried to take into account my past choices and my mistakes to not repeat itself.
4."The most influential person in my life is my father, because the one who pushes me to do things and who inspires and supports me in everything I intend to do and I do, and it's a person that I can trust and who can give me a tip for anything that happens to me.
5.-An issue of global importance that I believe global warming is affecting us all and I think it is everyone's job to help the earth.
6.-I have the quality to achieve my goals when I propose to me seriously and I seriously promise to do things the right way and with much effort.
1.- I will describe my school. Since kindergarden, I have always excel and accomplish everything I want, fighting to be always the best in the class. In elementary it was a tie fight between many classmates, but I had always A+ in every subject, and that gave me a personal satisfaction. In middle high school I continue with the same thinking, and it was until High School, that I entered the IB Program, and learned that a person is not a number. I think that what really matters about school is what you've learned, no matter the grades, and with what you have learned you must do something in life, help society, there will always be hard work to discover new things or to perfect them. I want to do that, to be someone in life, to leave my name in history. Right now I'm not sure what I want to be, but I have in mind to be someone, and not just one of many.
ResponderEliminar2.- Buddy Nielsen, singer from Senses Fail, has influenced in me in many ways through his lyrics. Although he talks about many different things in every song, the concepts I can find in them are depression, happiness, revenge and fame/glory. The songs doesn't talk much about me, but anyways I can understand and analyze them deeply and find the true meaning; and I can feel he is talking about me, although the situations in real life are very different than the song. First, the major part of his songs talk about depression, and it's because life is not perfect for anyone, in life you will get depressed once in a time, that's for sure. But to leave the depression away, you have to leave it away and think optimistic, and after this you will find happiness (one of the main goals a human must reach). Revenge does not apply in everybody, and I haven't identified in there yet because nobody has done me something to think about it. At last is fame/glory, which tells if you are going to be remembered by the people through the centuries, or you are just one of all the million people who live, reproduce and die.
3.- Since a man assault my dad with a gun and took everything from him, I understood that life can be finished at any moment. Thanks God, my dad is still alive, that's the most important thing, cause the material things come and go. Now I appreciate my life more, and start living without ignorance, facing every problem in an optimistic way.
ResponderEliminar4.- I will take as an example my father. In his past, he was poor, when he was at school. He finished his university and got a work, starting everything from zero. Now, since elementary school, I had gone many times to the office for bad behavior, and my dad talk to me that he will not spend his money and his hard work in a private school so that I can play and have fun instead of learning things. Since then, I appreciate my dad's hard work, and I have taken that advice to apply it in all my life.
5.- I think an important international issue is the actual economic problem in the world. Since 2008, most of the nations were under pressure to increase their product prices, and the change to other nation's money increased too. Many people lost their jobs, are more poor than before, etc. The importance to me is that I also got affected because many people become thieves to go through life in an easier way, and this affects me and everybody because now we live with more insecurity.
6.- I'm going to talk about my talent for using modern machines. Since I was a child, I liked a lot to use electronic devices, and although I didn't know how to read, I passed many video games and know were to go when I use a computer. Now, I have always discovered things without studying a computer, I find and learn many stuff by myself. For example, a year ago I bought a Mac, and I have never used one before, and after a week, I was using it as if I have used it all my life. I think that I learn to use technology easily, and there are many examples: video games, computers, software, iPod, applications, etc., I learn to use them by myself and I'm proud of it, because my curiosity to see what happens if I do this or that, is what makes me learn the things. Now I'm learning more advanced stuff like creating end editing videos and creating applications with Visual. I relate all this to me in a way that the future will depend on technology, robots, machines, etc. and I want to be useful to society, creating something that can help everyone.
I divided my answer in 2 because it was too long, lol
ResponderEliminarAll of the answers to the prompts are short, and from what I've read, I'd like to read longer responses (more like the personal essays we had to write for Elika) because all the students seem to be really interesting people :)
ResponderEliminarI'm Sydney and I must agree with my classmate Emily. Personal statemnets are a great way to learn about a person and I would like to know more about my neighbors. :)
ResponderEliminarBut I did like what Mayita wrote about her fictional inspiration, Peter Pan. I love that movie and the whole idea about never growing up.
Gabriel,
ResponderEliminarI agree with what you are saying how countries need to help other countries that are in poverty. I have lived in Germany and noticed that they dont think the USA should always help other countries but they also expect the US to help them which is really confussing if you ask me :S Other countries see that the USA helps when countries are in poverty and sometimes like in Iraq they get upset which is why i dont think the US is helping as much as they should. It shouldnt be the responsibility of only the US, all countries that are capable of providing help should.
-Melanie
Mayita,
ResponderEliminarI like how you say that family and friends are all you need and that they support you through whatever you do. I also like that you wrote about your grandmother and how see taught you to see the world throgh many eyes.
I would like to know more if you don't mind telling me.:)
-Kalyn
I agree as well. To a large extent, countries are responsible for their own well-being. However, it is most certainly a fine and noble gesture to aid another country in need. All it can do is help, earn gratitude and respect, and make the lives of many people better to some degree.
ResponderEliminarMayita, do you still feel that peter Pan and Tinker bell are your roll models? (I like the analogy you used btw)
ResponderEliminarTo all,
ResponderEliminarI use to live in Tijuana and I can relate to some of you. I use to live with my grandma near the border, I remember as a kid she would always bring the family together and family meant everything. Life is hard in Tijuana because of all the high crime and trafficking of all types. Drugs, and prostitution are also huge. I remember when I was little being told to avoid being out at dark because someone might take me away, which is exactly whats happening today, kidnapping has skyrocketed. All I can say is be safe and take care.
I’m Gerardo; I was born in National City, CA on the 31st of December. Since that day I had been living in Tijuana. 3 persons compose my family: my mother, my brother and my sister. But the roles in my family are very different. My mother and I are very unite, we help each other, we talk, etc. My brother is very serious and has always a lot of work, but sometimes he tells me to go play a sport with him (maybe soccer, tennis or golf.) and he always want to know what works I am doing in home, because he wants to help, even if I don’t like help. And my sister is always trying to find little things to get angry with me, she complains even with my mother. For example, if I wan to go to a friends house near in my car, I tell my mom if a can go and she says “yes of course, just don’t be late” and my sister hears and gets out and in an angry way she tells me “are you crazy, you are not leaving, you barely drive and you want to go alone, no!” and my mother and I are just like, “mmm ok” and I don’t leave. So I can call my sister as the other mother (we usually call her stepmother as a joke). This great family has always helped me in all the ways they can, and with this help I have performed several dreams: 1-Play soccer, I don’t want to be a professional player, but I would like to continue as a hobby, 2-Study in USA, I am going to try to enter on College at any United States school’s. These 2 dreams are basically my pillars of what I am, and my family always supports me, because they know my capacities and they know that I am good on it.
ResponderEliminarI would say that a fiction character that changed my style of thinking and seeing the world is Gregory House (from the series of House MD). When I first saw this series, this character impacted me, he was so wonderful, he humiliates people in a good way (this is great!) and he is also a very intelligent person in anything they ask, and he is the best in his profession.
A personal dilemma was when my parents get separated. It was very hard to me to get over with this situation. I think that an important fact that helps me pass this situation was my mentality and the help of my sister; she always give me hope, and if I was sad, she helped me, in that time, it was a good relationship with her.
I think that a my mother has been a very important and a positive influence on me, because she always helps me in all the ways she can, if a have a problem she helps me fin the right path, etc.
I think that a great quality of me is the perseverance, and the good reflexes. The perseverance helps me in all areas of study, because if I don’t know a thing, I am always trying to find the answer, I doesn’t matter the ways I do it. And the good reflexes helps me in all kind of sport, because I think this I basic for all sports, except the ones that involucrate water (that’s why I don’t like them).
Carlos: I like how you learned from the mistakes you made when you were young (telling that girl she will never be your girlfriend). You sound kind of like my older brother...he says he was mean to one girl before and when he saw how it affected her he never said hurtful things again. That's really inspirational that you are so attuned to other people's feelings and not only that, but you are concerned with your effect on them. If only everyone in this world learned from those middle school fights as much as you seem to have!

ResponderEliminarI really like your point that grades aren't everything...we are in school to learn about life and to gain social skills! Truly, most of the stuff we learn at school isn't applicable to the rest of our lives but the skills we learn we can use forever.
Allison
1.- Ok now, I was born in TECATE (yeah), BC on December 30 in 1993, I was born in an hospital named Eira ( so what , I know :p ) , anyway, I have two sisters, they are 22 and 21 and I get along very well with them. Even though I was born in Tecate, nowadays I live in Tijuana, because of the school and other things, but I really appreciate my dear Tecate, it’s like I lived there for so long (15 years) and many of my friends are in there; my best friends stayed there for high school but I had to move into Tijuana (pff) anyway, now I have many other friends in here. Both of my sisters studied in Cetys U, so since I was a kid I dreamed of going there and having their teachers, so I am very happy of studying in Cetys, I really don’t know what I want to do when I get older, though I really like socializing or something that has to do with people, I would choose business but my older sister ( the oldest one ) is already studying business so I wouldn’t like to study the same as her. Then I liked architecture but my other sister chose as career. I really don’t know what to study… Something I would like to do is to own a -Flower shop- (flowery xD wtv) because I really like beautiful flowers, I like their smell and their colors, that is an interesting fact of me, its like a -must do- in my future.
ResponderEliminar2.- Well, maybe its not an specific character, but uhmm… most of the time when I watch anime (because I like anime by the way) I assume the point of view of the protagonist, it´s like, I tend to change my behaviour according to that character, for example, Tamaki from Ouran is a very cheery person who loves beauty, so when I watch Ouran I tend to be funnier and a little silly or superficial; but when I watch Light (who is a killer O___o ) from Death note I become a little more serious , obviously I don’t become a killer, but I tend to appropriate their behaviour. Tamaki is the one that influences me more. Maybe its because I like the context of the anime and want to adapt it into the real world… maybe.
3.- It is actually a concern, it’s a very weird concern, anyway I will share it. Well, my sisters are both very intelligent, its like , they are really hard working and have great grades, also they have talent in what the chose as career. But, since I was a kid, I tend to compare myself with them, and I realize that “ they are better” sometimes I think that for myself and I get a little bit depressed. For example, they both won a contest to be “president for one day”, they both won the contest, but when I participated I got only into the first five. I felt so bad that day, I cried because I told myself I wasn’t enough capable or as capable as my sisters for winning that contest. I have felt that way in many other occasions, like now, one got 90 percent of scholarship here in Cetys and the other won the Beca Kyoto of 10,00 dlls and went to study insinde the country. I feel a little bit under their level…
4.- Oh god, I can’t say the name, but since I met that person, my life has become both a hell and heaven. I mean heaven because when we are both together I feel really comfortable and makes me feel good, makes me feel alive. Like, I actually valorise everything I have, both material and spiritual, because I feel perfect. (Obviously im in love -_-) But it is a hell because we are not together ( LOL ) and I get so desperate and jealous (PFFT) in many occasions, this love also distracts me from everything and I cant to my homework, neither put attention in class… and many other reason, though I thank god for giving me this feeling.
5.- I think it would be the aesthetic of Tijuana’s panorama. Tijuana seems a little bit ugly and dirty, but doesn’t mean the peple are ugly and dirty, I don’t know why it became that way, but I think that the local government should to something to embellish the city. Most of the time, beauty is related with progress or stability. Even though its wrong the past statement, I think it is necessary for Jorge Ramos to invest in aesthetical proyects for Tijuana. I really want other people to know the city I live in not for being insecure and with many murderers and other things, but that it is a beautiful city that has both positive and negative characteristics.
ResponderEliminar6.- Tell your audience about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution, or experience that is important to you. What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud and how does it relate to the person you are?
First, in a social sense, I am capable of socializing with anybody, you can be my friend, I can be yours, I really don’t tend to make prejudices, I try to share a smile and make you laugh. So i´m not closed to any relationship. About relationships, I am very open-minded, if you are gay, lesbian, heterosexual, bisexual it doesn’t matter, at last who cares, its not like im gonna treat you different or anything, and if you don’t like sharing it with other people, I wont share it neither, its your life ( actually my best girlfriend is gay, haha, but she is really funny ) and I don’t have any opposition who is openly gay or whatever, everybody chooses how to live their sexuality. Ok now, in a personal way, my talent is … uhmmm, maybe… I can play the piano! I like it very much, I love classical music, well, most of the time classical piano music and I am able to perform different song. I have a piano in my house and I practice every day, I have also played in public five times and I keep on going, I also know a little French, I’ve been studying French about 2 years ago so I am able to maintain a conversation. Besided that, I play tennis, I may not be the best in the world, but I think I can keep a good play. In addition, I consider myself intelligent and responsible, with initiative and also a little bit more mature than people of my age. I watch them doing many stupid things and I don’t follow their game, I just think that I would never do something like that because I am able to preview the consequences, that’s why I consider I’m mature. Finally I would like to say that I appreciate every single person that entourages me and that those who are really near to me, Ill never forget them. Never.
